I am not a professional by any means. I write from personal experience and from listening to the experiences of others. I write to challenge stigma and to propagate thought. I write because, like all of us, I have a story, and I believe everyone’s personal story is important. I do not have all the answers (I honestly have very few), and I never make such a claim. At this point, I am not cured, though sometimes I stand on the fragile precipice of remission.
I created this blog as an outlet and a catharsis, as I continue my journey toward recovery from an eating disorder. If even one person might benefit or feel less “alone” through my blathering on, I see the endeavor as more than a success.
